Yellow Ribbon Program
Notre Dame Law School is grateful for the military service of those who have bravely served our country. As a reflection of our gratitude, the Law School is pleased to assist our veterans and their families by our continued support and participation with the Post-9/11 GI Bill® Yellow Ribbon Program.
The Yellow Ribbon Program, enacted by Congress and run by the Veterans Administration, is a matching program that authorizes significant educational benefits to eligible U.S. military veterans. To put it simply, if you’re 100 percent post-9/11 GI Bill® eligible, the combination of your Chapter 33 benefits, our Yellow Ribbon funding, and the VA’s matching Yellow Ribbon funding will add up to tuition and fees.
Questions regarding the eligibility of a veteran for Yellow Ribbon benefits should be directed to the VA Regional Office in Indianapolis (317-916-3684), or to the VA Regional Office in a veteran’s home state of residence.
More information about the University of Notre Dame’s participation in the Yellow Ribbon Program may be found on the Office of the Registrar’s Veteran Affairs webpage, which includes a list of staff contacts.
GI Bill® is a registered trademark of the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs (VA). More information about education benefits offered by the VA is available at the official U.S. government Website at www.benefits.va.gov/gibill.
