Coronavirus (COVID-19) Update
Dear students: As the Law School takes action in response to the coronavirus, please know the CDO remains prepared to support students without interruption. CDO operations will continue as usual with two minor adjustments:
- All appointments with CDO staff will be conducted remotely via phone or Skype, including mock interviews; all in-person meetings will cease until further notice. Students may continue to schedule appointments through IrishLink in the same manner they always have.
- "Walk-in hours" will continue on a daily basis from 12:45 p.m. to 4:45 p.m. However, all "walk-in" meetings will take place over the phone rather than in person. Students should call Heidi Baguer at 574-631-7542, and she will connect you with the counselor on call.
All other CDO operations will continue unaltered, including the application process for Federal Work-Study and Law School Funding. Students should continue to submit those applications to FWSprogram@nd.edu and contact Heidi Baguer (email@example.com, 574-631-7542) with any questions.
We know many students may have questions as the coronavirus situation develops. Rest assured that the CDO will be here to help every step of the way. Please never hesitate to contact the staff with any questions.

Notre Dame Law School's Career Development Office helps students identify and obtain positions that are meaningful and rewarding.
Lawyers, like most professionals, will likely change jobs many times during their careers. The CDO's goal is to provide students with the tools necessary to obtain the first job after graduation and the skills necessary to navigate the legal market throughout their careers. In addition to facilitating on- and off-campus interviews with employers, the CDO provides a full slate of services that includes resume reviews, mock interviews, assistance in contacting the vast Notre Dame Lawyer network, and educational programming.
At Notre Dame Law School, the CDO is designed to give students the tools they need to take control of their career paths. The CDO staff will be with you during your time in law school and will stay with you throughout your professional life.
The office is staffed with experienced lawyers who are knowledgeable about legal markets across the United States as well as specialty areas such as public interest law and clerkships.
The CDO provides frequent informational and educational programs on a variety of job search and career-related topics. Programs are generally during the lunch hour with food provided.
