Ed D'Arcy joined the Notre Dame Law School in February of 2018 as an Assistant Director for the Career Development Office. He graduated from the University of Notre Dame with a B.A. in Economics and received his J.D. from Chicago-Kent College of Law. Prior to Notre Dame Law School, D'Arcy spent many years in civil litigation as a partner in small and mid-sized law firms in Chicago and Northwest Indiana. In addition to his trial practice, he also successfully argued cases before the Illinois and Indiana appellate courts including cases of first impression. D'Arcy was named Super Lawyer and attained a Martindale-Hubble AV Preeminent rating from his peers, a designation earned by only 10 percent of all attorneys.

D'Arcy's grandfather, father and son graduated from Notre Dame so he is thrilled to be working at the NDLS. As a native of Joliet, he is a lifelong fan of the Chicago White Sox, Bears and Blackhawks. His spare time is spent at home with his wife, on the golf course or with one of his kids in New York City or San Francisco.
