Wendy S. Buckingham, ‘04 BA, ‘07 J.D.

Littler is pleased to announce that Wendy Buckingham has been elevated to shareholder effective, January 1, 2023 in its Philadelphia office. Buckingham focuses her practice on employment litigation and advice work related to background checks and the Uniformed Services Employment and Reemployment Rights Act (USERRA). She is a core member of Littler’s Background Check practice group and dedicates her practice to employment litigation and counseling. Buckingham is the co-chair of Littler’s Veterans Initiative, which strives to recruit and mentor veterans actively serving, former service members, and Reserve and National Guard members as attorneys and staff. The affinity group actively seeks opportunities to work with veteran-friendly and veteran-owned companies, including non-profit organizations. Outside of Littler, Buckingham currently serves as a lieutenant colonel in the U.S. Air Force Reserve, Judge Advocate General’s Corps. She is a Purple Heart recipient and was named in President Obama’s 2010 Independence Day Celebration Remarks at the White House.
