Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP has chosen Baltimore partner Katherine Lawler '05 BBA to be a member of the 2020 class of Fellows in a program created by the Leadership Council on Legal Diversity (LCLD) to identify, train, and advance the next generation of leaders in the legal profession. The goal of the LCLD Fellows Program is to “produce a generation of attorneys with strong leadership and relationship skills who are committed to fostering diversity within their individual institutions and the profession at large.” Lawler concentrates her practice on defending companies in mass tort, personal injury and business matters. Lawler has been recognized by organizations for her professional and civic work, including being named to the Daily Record’s “Leading Women” and “Very Important Professionals, Successful by 40” as well as the National Association of Professional Women VIP Woman of the Year – Attorneys, Partners and Judges in 2013.
