John Crowley

John Crowley has been appointed as the CEO of Biotechnology Innovation Organization (BIO). His inspiring journey, portrayed in the motion picture movie "Extraordinary Measures," reflects his unwavering dedication to finding a cure for Pompe disease, which affects two of his children. In his pursuit, Crowley emerged as an entrepreneur in the biotech industry. John and his wife Aileen are generous supporters of Notre Dame Law School and the University of Notre Dame - College of Science. In 2007, he was honored with the Edward Murphy Award from Notre Dame Law School, recognizing distinguished lawyers who exhibit the highest professional competence and compassion and are guided by the high moral and religious values that the University of Notre Dame represents.
