In Memoriam: Timothy D. Cantu ’13 J.D.

Notre Dame Law School is deeply saddened by the passing of Timothy Cantu, who died November 9 after a battle with cancer.

Cantu most recently worked as an associate at Jameson Pepple Cantu in Seattle. His practice focused on all aspects of commercial real estate transactions, particularly acquisition and development, financing and lending, low-income housing tax credit development and related financing, tax-exempt and bond financing, title insurance, and corporate, partnership, and limited liability organizations.

He earned his J.D. cum laude from Notre Dame Law School in 2013. At the Law School, he served as notes and submissions editor for the Notre Dame Law Review and worked as a research assistant for Professor Richard Garnett. He received his undergraduate degree in 2010 from Thomas Aquinas College in California.

He is survived by his wife, Marie, and five children.
