In Memoriam: Mary Gail Gerebenics, ‘75 J.D.

It is with great sadness that the law school announces the passing of Gail Gerebenics on April 29, 2022 in Naples, Florida surrounded by family.. Gerebenics began her career as a staff attorney in the General Counsel’s office of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights. She later entered private practice and successfully defended juvenilles accused of serious offenses under the D.C. Superior Court’s Juvenile Justice Program. She later returned to government work and ended her career in the Office of General Counsel fo the Merit System Protection Board of the Office of Personal Management.
