In Memoriam: Mark J. Adey, ‘88 J.D.

It is with great sadness that the law school announces the passing of Mark Adey in South Bend, Indiana, on July 12, 2022 after a short battle with pancreatic cancer. Adey was a partner at Barnes & Thornburg LLP, the law firm that he joined after graduating from law school. Adey focused his practice on bankruptcy and creditor’s rights and commercial and real estate transactions. Adey was a trusted advisor to his clients, a mentor to young lawyers, and a true partner.
