In Memoriam: Mark H. Berens, ‘50 BS, ‘51 J.D.

It is with a heavy heart that the law school announces the passing of Mark Berens on September 21, 2023 in Northbrook, Illinois at the age of 95. After graduation from law school and serving in the U.S. Army Judge Advocate General Corps., Berens joined Mayer Brown LLP in Chicago where he spent the next 40+ years developing a diverse practice focused on tax and international corporate law.
