In Memoriam: John W. “Jack” Beatty, ‘65 J.D.

It is with a heavy heart that the Law School announces the passing of Jack Beatty in his home in Mariemont, Ohio on January 20, 2023 with his family by his side. After graduation from law school, Beatty joined the Dinsmore & Shohl law firm in Cincinnati, Ohio where he became chair of the firm’s litigation department and a member of the firm’s executive committee. In addition to his successful law practice, Beatty served on numerous boards of organizations and charities in his community.
