Cristal Brisco ’06 J.D. appointed as St. Joseph Superior Court judge

On June 3, Indiana Gov. Eric Holcomb named Cristal Brisco ’06 J.D. as his appointment for St. Joseph County Superior Court judge.

Brisco has served as a magistrate judge in St. Joseph County since 2018. Prior to her appointment as a judge, she practiced law as an attorney at Barnes & Thornburg LLP, as the corporation counsel for the City of South Bend, and as general counsel for Saint Mary’s College. She also serves on the Notre Dame Law Association Board as an affinity representative for Black alumni.
