London Law Programme
Notre Dame Law School established the London Law Programme in 1968 to provide students with opportunities to deepen their understanding of the roots of American law, explore international career opportunities, and broaden their perspectives. It is the oldest study-abroad program offered by a U.S. law school and the only year-long overseas program approved by the American Bar Association.
Global Opportunities
Notre Dame Law School is devoted to preparing all students to succeed on their individual career paths, including those who seek opportunities outside the United States. Students in the London Law Programme may choose from numerous externships with British law firms, multinational corporations, government offices, and nonprofit organizations. A select number of students may spend a summer in Dublin or Hamburg as part of our Honor Scholars Program.

Lawyers from all over the world come to Notre Dame Law School to further their studies through our LL.M. and J.S.D. programs. The programs include our renowned LL.M. in International Human Rights Law as well as options that allow students to focus on another topic. Students may spend time at the main campus in South Bend, Indiana, or at Notre Dame's London campus in the United Kingdom.
