Founded in 1869, Notre Dame Law School is the oldest law school at a Catholic university in the United States. What has it meant to be a Catholic law school in America? Professor Emeritus Walter F. Pratt Jr., a noted legal historian, will discuss that question in a presentation about Notre Dame Law School's history.
Posters with photos and milestones from Notre Dame Law School's history will be on display for attendees to view in the atrium of Eck Hall of Law.
This event is part of the celebrations marking 150 years of Notre Dame Law.
The event is free and open to the public. Doors will open at 9:00 a.m. Please enter Eck Hall of Law through the west doors that face Notre Dame Avenue and the Morris Inn.
Free coffee and pastries will be available for attendees.
