Émile Renner-Arsenault is an international exchange student from Humboldt University in Berlin, Germany. He will be studying at NDLS for one semester. During his studies, he specialized in intellectual property law. Looking ahead, he is particularly drawn to litigation and envisions the possibility of working in an international context. This has deepened his interest in examining the international aspects of civil law more thoroughly. Therefore, at NDLS, he hopes to build lasting friendships and meaningful academic connections. In his free time, he is an athlete. At the beginning of his studies, he discovered martial arts. He is now an avid Muay Thai practitioner and is currently expanding his skills in Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu. Beyond this, he’s a passionate hiker. His last adventure was the “Peaks of the Balkans” trail. At Notre Dame, he looks forward to participating in campus life and embracing the cultural differences between Europe and the United States.
