Pablo A. Proaño is an Ecuadorian lawyer specializing in constitutional law and international human rights. His work focuses on strategic litigation, legislative development and its intersection with academic investigation analysis in matters involving fundamental rights, institutional design, and the protection of vulnerable populations.

He holds a Master’s degree in Constitutional Law from UTPL and a law degree (cum laude) from Universidad San Francisco de Quito. His academic work includes publications on constitutional adjudication, state responsibility, and the relationship between human rights, democracy, and the common good.

He has experience supporting judicial decision-making at the Inter-American Court of Human Rights, contributing through legal research and drafting, and has participated in constitutional litigation and advocacy initiatives alongside ecuadorian NGO's at the Constitutional Court of Ecuador. He has also been invited to provide legal expertise before the Ecuadorian National Assembly, contributing to legislative debates on human rights, public health, and the implementation of international legal standards.
