Faizah Sidi (Kenya) is a human rights lawyer from Kenya with over a decade of experience working at the intersection of law, accountability, and institutional reform. Her career has spanned national and international human rights systems, from the Kenya National Commission on Human Rights, where she led treaty body reporting, legislative advocacy, and the Commission's successful re-accreditation under the UN Paris Principles, to the United Nations Office of the High Commissioner for Human Rights in Geneva, where she supported national human rights institutions across multiple regions and authored reports to the Human Rights Council and the UN General Assembly. Grounded in practice and committed to results, Faizah believes that strong institutions are the foundation of lasting human rights protection. She is a published author and a recipient of the ICRC Henry Dunant Prize. At Notre Dame, she looks forward most to its community life: the people, the relationships, and the shared sense of purpose that she hopes will sustain her long into her career.
