Olena Babliak (Ukraine) is a law student at the Ukrainian Catholic University (UCU) in Lviv, Ukraine. Olena grew up in Kyiv and is a first-generation lawyer-to-be in a family of doctors and teachers.

After three years of studying at UCU Law School, she realized that her interests lie primarily in human rights law. For two years in a row, Olena mentored the first-year UCU Law School students. She is also involved in organizing various projects, such as the UCU Mentorship School 2024, the UCU Law School SMM team, a cultural project in Vinnytsia and more.

During her stay at the University of Notre Dame, she wishes to get involved in its community and learn about the university's traditions, culture, academic and cultural heritage, and the values that are leading its community throughout life.

Beyond her studies, Olena is very excited about art thanks to her mother, who is an artist. She is particularly keen on design.
