New CCHR Advisory Committee Internship Fund

In 2009, the Center for Civil and Human Rights was able to partially fund one summer internship for current 3L, Jessica Brock, who interned with the UNAIDS HIV and Human Rights project in Kampala, Uganda.

Thanks to the generosity of members of the Advisory Committee of the Center for Civil and Human Rights, the CCHR is now in a position to offer up to three summer internships in civil or human rights organizations to current 1Ls or 2Ls.

The amount of funds for each internship will vary according to the student’s needs. Our goal with this funding is to provide a rewarding experience in a civil or human rights organization, either in the United States or abroad. Where possible, we hope to combine our efforts with the impressive summer employment program administered by the Career Services Office.
