ND Law wins Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Regional Competition in Chicago

Notre Dame Law School's team of 3Ls Mark Relation, Katie Cronin, and Talea Stashin won best brief and first place overall on Saturday, February 8, at the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Regional Competition in Chicago. Sixteen teams from nine law schools participated in the regional competition.

The next stop for Relation, Cronin, and Stashin will be the National Finals on March 21 in Washington, D.C., where the nation's top 12 teams will compete in front of Trademark Trial and Appeal Board judges.

The Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Competition, sponsored by the International Trademark Association, introduces law students to important issues arising in U.S. trademark and unfair competition law. Students develop their brief writing and oral advocacy skills in a mock courtroom experience.

This is the second time in three years that Notre Dame Law School's intellectual property students have won the Saul Lefkowitz Moot Court Regional Competition. The Law School's team of Hannah Weger, Matt Fitzgerald, and Adam Kwon won the regional competition in 2018 and placed third nationally.
