Notre Dame Law's Roger Alford speaks at policy forum in Beijing

Notre Dame Law Professor Roger Alford, currently on leave from the Law School while serving as deputy assistant attorney general for international affairs with the Antitrust Division of the U.S. Department of Justice, delivered remarks on July 31 at the 2018 Competition Policy Forum in Beijing.

Since being appointed to the leadership role at the Department of Justice, Alford has made speeches in Brazil, China, Germany, Mexico, South Korea, and the United Kingdom. Full transcripts of his speeches are available on the DOJ's website.

Alford's speech in Brazil in October 2017 was part of a law conference that the University of Notre Dame hosted in collaboration with the University of São Paolo. Notre Dame Law Professor Jimmy Gurulé also spoke at the conference.
