Unity Speaker Series: The Imposter Phenomenon in Law School & Legal Profession

Dr. Kevin Cokley, Professor of Psychology at the University of Michigan, will join us for our next Unity Series event to discuss his work on imposter syndrome in law school and the legal profession. A key component of Dr. Cokley's research is understanding the impostor phenomenon and its relationship to mental health and academic outcomes among minoritized students. Dr. Cokley will present on his imposter phenomenon research, including his recent paper, “Lawyering While Black: Perceived Stress as a Mediator of Impostor Feelings, Race-Related Stress and Mental Health Among Black Attorneys.”
