The LGBT Law Forum and Prism ND are proud to host Greg Bourke and his husband, Michael De Leon, for a discussion and reception on Friday, November 19th at 4 p.m. in the McCartan Courtroom. Greg and Michael, both Notre Dame alums, were plaintiffs in the 2015 landmark case Obergefell v. Hodges, which codified marriage equality into United States law.

Greg's book, Gay, Catholic, and American: My Legal Battle for Marriage Equality and Inclusion, has been described as a "profoundly moving memoir about growing up gay and overcoming discrimination in the battle for same-sex marriage in the US. Gay, Catholic, and American is an illuminating account that anyone, no matter their ideological orientation, can read for insight. It will appeal to those interested in civil rights, Catholic social justice, and LGBTQ inclusion."
