ND Exoneration Project: Exoneree Panel

The Notre Dame Exoneration Project has invited two men exonerated from Wayne County, Mich., convictions to speak to our students about their experiences being wrongfully convicted and exonerated.
- Kenneth Nixon was wrongfully convicted of murder, attempted murder, and arson. He was convicted in 2005 and exonerated in 2021.
- Marvin Cotton was wrongfully convicted of murder, illegal use of a weapon. He was convicted in 2001 and exonerated in 2020.
