Public Interest Fellowship Season: Your Public Interest and Government OCI Equivalent

Dory Mitros Durham, a former Skadden fellow and Zenaida Alonzo, a former EJW fellow will speak on campus about their public interest projects. April Kentala will discuss how through persistence, leveraging her work in the bridge-to-practice program, and networking in the Chicago public interest community, she eventually got an in at her dream job- the Chicago Public Defender. Durham created a project at the Indiana Legal Services where her work centered on assisting immigrant victims of crimes or other forms of exploitation. Alonzo partnered with the Chicago Coalition for the Homeless creating a mobile kid-friendly legal aid clinic. Co-Sponsored by WLF, Hispanic Law Students Association, and PILF
