Galilee: Justice at Work Informational Meeting

-

Location: McCartan Courtroom

I invite all J.D. and LL.M. students to join me and the student leadership team for an informational meeting on Galilee: Justice at Work. Galilee is an elective one-credit course that allows students to see the law in action during three day immersions around the country over the winter break. Most NDLS students in recent years have taken advantage of this extraordinary experience. After a semester of intense academic work, Galilee introduces students to the practice of law in cities where they may be interested in working. Students meet and shadow lawyers, judges, law enforcement officials and others grappling with difficult legal and social issues. The program brings the law alive, helps students think about their career paths, and allows students to network with NDLS alums and other lawyers while forming deeper bonds with fellow law students.

Galilee student leaders will discuss their experiences and share the details of this year’s program. Here is a link to a brief video created by the student leaders: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=2FbPoRk08O8&feature=youtu.be
