Cancelled - MLSA presents Paul M. Lewis

The Military Law Student Association discussion with Mr. Paul M. Lewis scheduled for today is cancelled.

Mr. Lewis attained his BA ’80, JD ’83 from Notre Dame before setting off on a long career in public service. He has held posts as general counsel to the House Armed Services Committee, Director of the Office of Legislative Counsel for the Defense Department, was the counsel to the chairman of the House Ethics Committee and a senior counsel for the House Armed Services Committee. Recently he was appointed as special envoy for the closure of the detention facility at Guantanamo Bay, Cuba. He will be speaking about the progression of his career and the current status of the closure of the detention center at Guantanamo Bay.
