CDO: Future Prosecuting Attorneys Council Inaugural Event

-

Location: Room 1130

On behalf of the Career Development Office and the Future Prosecuting Attorney’s Council, I’m pleased to announce that TODAY, February 26, at 12:30 PM in Room 1130, Professor Jimmy Gurulé will speak about “Preparing to Practice Law as a Prosecuting Attorney.” As part of his presentation, Professor Gurulé will discuss specific, practical steps students can take during law school to prepare for a career as a prosecuting attorney. Professor Gurulé will also discuss the privilege and responsibility of working as a prosecuting attorney within the context of the Enrique Camarena prosecution, which involved the brutal torture and murder of a DEA Special Agent. Professor Gurulé supervised the three-year DOJ investigation of the agent’s assailants and convicted three defendants in connection with the agent’s murder.

Pizza will be served.
