2013 Notre Dame Symposium

On Thursday, Sept. 19, The Tocqueville Program in conjunction with the Center for Ethics and Culture will be hosting it’s 2013 Symposium, “Religious Freedom Under Obamacare: Can and Should For-Profit Businesses Claim Conscientious Objector Status?”

The symposium features an address by Bill McGurn, Notre Dame alumnus, speech writer for President George W. Bush, Wall Street Journal columnist, and current editorial page editor of the New York Post. Mr. McGurn’s talk, which is titled “New Gods in the Public Square,” will be next Thursday evening at 6:00pm in the Law School courtroom.
