Tim Storino is a former federal prosecutor and seasoned trial lawyer, who handles white collar and commercial litigation matters in federal and state courts, including public corruption, financial/securities fraud, class actions, products liability, false advertising, False Claims Act, racketeering, and breach of contract. Tim also represents clients facing investigations from federal and state authorities related to fraud, cryptocurrency matters, public corruption, and the Foreign Corrupt Practices Act, providing strategic advice to shield clients from legal scrutiny while ensuring regulatory compliance. As a federal prosecutor, Tim tried over a dozen federal jury trials, including two lengthy and complicated racketeering trials each lasting several months. Tim served in a variety of roles in the Department of Justice, including Senior Litigation Counsel, in which he supervised and consulted with federal prosecutors preparing for trial and significant hearings, and Chief of the Violent Crimes Section, in which he supervised nearly 20 federal prosecutors. Prior to joining the Department of Justice, Tim clerked for three federal judges, at the magistrate level, district court level, and circuit court level. Tim graduated from the University of Notre Dame in 2002, where he was a member of the varsity soccer team, and earned his law degree from Notre Dame Law School in 2005. Tim has taught in different capacities at the Law School over the years, including the intensive trial advocacy course and serving as a guest lecturer in criminal courses.
