Sarah Pojanowski joined the Notre Dame Law School faculty in a full-time capacity in 2026. She also taught Legal Writing at Notre Dame in an adjunct capacity for four years during her time in private practice.

Pojanowski graduated from Concord College in Athens, West Virginia, as valedictorian in 2002. She attended Harvard Law School, where she was Editor-In-Chief of the Harvard Journal of Law and Technology. She then joined Heller Ehrman LLP, where she practiced general litigation, as well as antitrust and trade regulation law. She also spent time at Paul Hastings LLP, where she continued her antitrust work. Pojanowski then transitioned to an in-house role, serving as General Counsel of a trade association, Selected Independent Funeral Homes, for sixteen years.

Pojanowski specializes in fostering clear communication skills through the written word. She also has a special interest in small business law, death care law, and consumer protection law.
