Michael Greenlee joined the Kresge Law Library faculty as Associate Director in July 2023. Prior to working at Notre Dame, Michael served as a librarian with the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Seventh Circuit; as the library director of the Concordia University School of Law; and as the associate director of the University of Idaho College of Law. Michael has taught courses in basic and advanced legal research, the Law of Mass Communications, Foundations of Justice, and acted as a moot court coach for the Inter-American Human Rights Moot Court Competition and the ABA National Appellate Advocacy Competition.
Michael is a native Hoosier and earned a dual-degree in Law and Library Science (JD/MLS) at Indiana University-Bloomington in 2002. He also completed a graduate certificate in Bioethics & Health Policy from the Neiswanger Institute for Bioethics at Loyola University Chicago (2022) and is completing a certificate of Catholic Theology through the McGrath Institute for Church Life at Notre Dame. In addition to his work as a law librarian, Michael is a certified Tai Chi instructor and an assistant instructor in Taekwondo.
