Mary Jo serves as Administrative Assistant in the International Human Rights LL.M. Program providing support to Prof. Diane Desierto and Program Manager Jean Marc Brissau. She previously served as the Paralegal for the Notre Dame Law School Tax Clinic.

Mary Jo is a “Double Domer” having obtained her B.A. in Spanish and Latin American Studies and her J.D. from the University of Notre Dame. While in law school, she was a Glenn Peters fellow and the recipient of the Dean Konop Legal Aid and Defender Award. Determined to devote her career to public interest, she was a staff attorney with Indiana Legal Services, a division head in the Child Support Division of the St. Joseph County Prosecutor’s Office, and Executive Director of the Volunteer Lawyer Network, Inc. before taking time off to raise her family. She deeply appreciates the opportunity to assist the students in the International Human Rights LL.M. Program.
