Kathryn Caballero has practiced environmental law in Washington D.C. for over twenty-five years, first in the environmental practice group at Arnold & Porter, and then with the Environmental Protection Agency. Caballero is currently the Director of the Federal Facilities Enforcement Office in EPA's Office of Enforcement and Compliance Assurance, and was previously the acting Associate Director in the Air Enforcement Division of the Office of Civil Enforcement. She has been a senior attorney in the Air Enforcement Division and in the Waste and Chemical Enforcement Division, and a supervisory attorney-advisor in EPA's Office of Transportation and Air Quality. Caballero is a former co-chair of the DC Bar Environment, Energy and Natural Resources (EENR) Community Steering Committee, and currently co-chairs the Energy, Environmental and Science Law Forum of the Women's Bar Association of DC.
Prior to practicing law, Caballero was a chemical engineer in EPA’s Design for the Environment program. Kathryn earned a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Notre Dame, an M.S.E. in Chemical Engineering from Princeton University, and a J.D. at New York University School of Law.
