Jorge Argueta was appointed Assistant Director of Recruiting in April 2025. Prior to joining the Law School Admissions team, Jorge worked in student recruitment at Mt. Hood Community College in Gresham, Oregon. Before that, he spent seven years as an academic advisor at Clark College in Vancouver, Washington, and also gained three years of recruitment experience at Washington State University Vancouver.

In addition to his work in student affairs, Jorge has taught United States and World History at several colleges in both the Southern California and Portland, Oregon metro areas. Originally from Los Angeles, California, Jorge earned his B.A. in History in 2007 and his M.A. in History, with a concentration in the ancient Mediterranean world, in 2010—both from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona.

He lived in the Pacific Northwest prior to his appointment to the Law School Admissions team and is joined by his wife and two children.
