Emma Vandehey (Garrett)
Assistant Director of Law School Admissions
Emma Vandehey (Garrett) was appointed Assistant Director of Law School Admissions in August 2026. She brings experience in recruitment, graduate admissions, and student affairs within higher education.
Emma earned her bachelor’s degree in Russian Language and Applied Linguistics from Portland State University in 2021, followed by a master’s degree in Communication in 2023.
Although she was born and raised in the Pacific Northwest, Emma grew up in a family of devoted Notre Dame fans and has long imagined herself becoming part of the Notre Dame community.
Outside of work, Emma enjoys spending time with her son, Dutch, and her three French Bulldogs, Howard, Dotty, and Fiona.
