David McIlroy is Head of Chambers at Forum Chambers in London. His areas of expertise include UK and EU banking, commercial litigation, financial mis-selling, insolvency, and professional negligence.
He is one of the foremost banking barristers in England. His combination of experience and insight enables him to identify persuasive arguments and to see where the law might be developed in the future.
He has also served as a visiting professor in the Centre for Commercial Law Studies at Queen Mary University of London, where he has taught on crowd-funding, open banking, and other hot topics in banking law.
