Ahson Azmat

Associate Professor of Law

Ahson Azmat specializes in business law, with specific interests in securities and antitrust litigation, corporate disclosure, fiduciary duties, and private law theory. He received his AB summa cum laude from Princeton University and his JD and PhD cum laude from Harvard University. He has been practicing as a commercial litigator in New York after clerking on the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Second Circuit, and at Notre Dame he will be teaching Contracts, Business Associations, and other topics. Ahson's scholarship has been published in the Harvard Law Review, Oxford University Press, and the Journal of Tort Law. His current research interests include corporate fraud, causation, and analytic jurisprudence.
