ND LAMB serves as co-sponsor for annual International Behavioral Public Policy Conference
The Notre Dame Program on Law and Market Behavior (LAMB) co-sponsored the Second International Behavioral Public Policy Conference, which was held on September 6-8, 2023 at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill.
This annual conference offers an interdisciplinary forum for those working at the increasingly active intersection of behavioral science and public policy. The first annual conference was held last year at the London School of Economics and Political Science, while next year’s conference will be held at Cambridge University on June 23-25, 2024.
The conference is the flagship event of the International Behavioural Public Policy Association (IBPPA), an umbrella organization for all those who are involved and/or interested in the growing multidisciplinary field of behavioral public policy. The Association aims to facilitate the sharing of knowledge among those studying behavioral public policy across different fields--including public policy and government, behavioral science, economics, philosophy, and law--across the world via the annual conference, the Association's high-impact partner journal, "Behavioural Public Policy," and other scholarly and policy-oriented events and activities.
Professor of Law Avishalom Tor, LAMB faculty director and a member of the IBPPA International Advisory Board, presented his ongoing research on "Scrutinizing Digital Nudges" on September 6, at the opening Digital Issues panel of this year's annual conference.
