Judith Fox is an Associate Clinical Professor of Law at the Notre Dame Law School, where she teaches and practices consumer law. Since joining the Notre Dame faculty 1997, she has taught courses in consumer law, alternative dispute resolution, ethics and domestic violence. Prior to joining the law school faculty, Judy was the deputy director of Berrien County Legal Services in St. Joseph, Michigan. Judy graduated from Notre Dame Law School, magna cum laude in 1993. She was the articles editor of the Notre Dame Law Review. She is a member of the National Association of Consumer Lawyers and the National Association of Social Security Advocates. Prior to attending law school, Judy was a loan officer at banks in both Pennsylvania and Indiana.

In her work at the clinic, Ms. Fox concentrates on poverty law, family law, debtor/creditor issues and public-benefits law. Her professional and volunteer activities reflect this commitment. She is a member of the Domestic Violence Committee of the Michigan State Bar Association (since 1996), a member of the Family Law Task Force for State Court Unification Project of the Berrien County (Michigan) Bar Association (1996-97), and vice president of the Board of Directors of the St. Joseph County (Indiana) Literacy Council.
