Notre Dame Law Student selected to receive 2024 Barnes & Thornburg Diversity Scholarship

Notre Dame Law School first year student Yasmeen Dohan is a recipient of the 2024 Barnes & Thornburg Diversity Scholarship, which is awarded to first year law students who demonstrate a commitment to promoting diversity, equity, and inclusion in the legal field.Dohan will be joining Barnes & Thornburg as a summer associate in their Indianapolis location.

“I feel incredibly grateful to have been awarded the Barnes & Thornburg 1L Diversity Scholarship,” said Dohan. “The opportunity to spend a summer with attorneys who are deeply committed to their work and creating an inclusive and diverse environment is a privilege not many law students receive. I look forward to connecting with more of the Barnes & Thornburg team this summer and learning from their experiences.”

Dohan is a member of the Middle Eastern Law Students Association and the Women’s Legal Forum. Prior to coming to Notre Dame, Dohan earned her bachelor's in political science at the University of Michigan and gained professional experience at two New York public relations firms.
