Jim Scales '21 J.D.

Foster Swift welcomes new associate, Jim W. Scales '21 J.D., to the firm. Scales is a member of Foster Swift’s litigation practice group.

At a time when most firms cancelled their summer programs due to the severity of the pandemic, he participated remotely as a Foster Swift summer associate at the firm in the summer of 2020. He was sworn in at the Michigan Supreme Court in Lansing on Tuesday, November 16.

Scales is based in the Grand Rapids office. His experience includes appeals briefs, wrongful death, contract breaches, personal injury, probate estates, employment matters and religious liberty & religious organizations.
