Barclay Damon announces that Chris Shaw '89 J.D., partner, has joined Barclay’s rapidly expanding Health Care Controversies Team. He is also a member of the firm’s White Collar & Government Investigations Practice Area and Health & Human Services Providers Team. For nearly a decade, Shaw, a top prosecutor of Medicaid fraud cases, was the regional director of the Medicaid Fraud Control Unit (MFCU) within the Office of the Attorney General, State of New York. Linda Clark, leader of the firm’s Health Care Controversies Team, said, “The depth and breadth of Chris’s experience is a feather in the cap of not only Barclay Damon’s Health Care Practice Group but the firm as a whole. Chris’s knowledge will add to the growth and depth of the firm’s health care and litigation practice and further provide the Health Care Controversies and Health & Human Services Providers Teams the edge to continue expanding our recruiting efforts as well as going head-to-head with our direct competitors.”
