Jill Smith Kanatzar, ’94 J.D.

Dollar Burns & Becker in Kansas City, named Jill Kanatzar as a partner in its health care group. Kanatzar has more than 20 years of experience, most recently as assistant prosecuting attorney in Jackson County, spending most of her time with the Child Abuse & Sex Crimes Unit. She has tried more than 40 jury cases, from robberies to homicides. She also has prior experience at Stigall Humphrey Lucas Henry & Dollar, where she represented families and patients injured by abuse or neglect in nursing homes.
