In Memoriam: John Francis Beggan, ’57 BA, ’60 J.D.

The Law School is sad to announce the passing of John Beggan on February 1, 2015 in Wilmette, Illinois. After his graduation from NDLS, John began his career in Washington, D.C. working in the Tax Division of the U.S. Justice Department. Five years later John and his wife moved to Chicago where they raised their family and he practiced corporate law at the firm of Gardner, Carton, and Douglas for over 30 years.
