Since Max Siegel became USATF’s fourth CEO in May 2012, he has signed 12 corporate partnership deals and grown the organization’s sponsor roster from seven to 19 and increased the organization’s annual revenue from $19 million to $30 million. USATF board member Jackie Joyner-Kersey credits the recent success of USATF with Siegel’s “team approach” in dealing with sponsors and athletes. “Max is a ‘we’ guy,” Joyner-Kersey said. “It’s about how we can do this together. That approach has created tremendous buy-in with athletes, sponsors and other constituents which has produced tremendous progress for the organization.” Read more
Kevin Warren, who is entering his 11th season with the Vikings, most recently served as the Vikings Executive Vice President of Legal Affairs and Chief Administrative Officer. As CEO, Warren will now oversee all aspects of the Vikings business operations and will create strategic efforts for all departments. Warren has been instrumental in the design and construction process of the new Viking stadium set to open in 2016. Viking Owner/Chairman Zygi Wilf said, “Kevin’s leadership, acumen, passion and work ethic will continue to be a positive asset for the Vikings and this community.” Warren and his wife are very committed to the Minneapolis-St. Paul community, where they recently donated $1 million to the University of Minnesota Masonic Children’s Hospital to establish “Carolyn’s Comforts”, a child cancer emergency assistance fund named in honor of Warren’s late sister. Kristen Fletcher was named a Distinguished Environmental Law Graduate of Lewis & Clark Law School where she received a Masters of Environmental and Natural Resources Law (LL.M.) in 1998. The award recognizes significant contributions to the environmental and natural resources law field. Fletcher has worked in environmental law and policy, specifically ocean and coastal law, for more than seventeen years. Fletcher has directed grant programs, taught law and graduate students in the areas of Ocean and Coastal Law, Natural Resources Law, and Fisheries Law. From 2007-2012, Fletcher was the Executive Director of Coastal States Organization (CSO) which represents governors of the nation’s 35 coastal states and territories regarding ocean, coastal, and Great Lakes issues. Currently Fletcher is the Principal of Fletcher Coastal Consulting in Pacific Grove, California where her work includes advancing coastal management at the state, regional, and national levels.
Kristen Polovoy, a partner in Montgomery McCracken Walker & Rhoads LLP, has been reappointed Chair of the Class Action Practice Committee of the Camden County Bar Association. Polovoy’s practice includes complex commercial litigation with a focus on class action defense of product manufacturers in consumer fraud and household product advertising lawsuits, including food labeling litigation.
