In memoriam: James F. Smith, ’89 J.D.

Brigadier General James Smith passed away on September 29, 2014 from cancer complications at the age of 54. Jim was married to Jennifer O’Leary Smith, ’89 J.D. Upon his retirement from the Air Force, as a Brigadier General, Jim was awarded the Distinguished Service Medal by the President of the United States. Jim was a partner in the firm of Butler Pappas in Chicago. Please view the online obituary for more about Jim’s many accomplishments.
