Prof. Carter Snead was a featured speaker at a conference on the public policy questions concerning experimental research on human embryos that was held this September at Oxford University (Corpus Christi College).

Sponsored by the Anscombe Bioethics Centre (formerly known as the Linacre Centre), the program featured distinguished speakers from Germany, France, Italy, Ireland, the United States and the UK so as to provide an overview of the ethical and legal debates in different countries.

He is also an associate research fellow of the Anscombe Bioethics Centre, where Biolchini Family Professor of Law John Finnis serves on the board of governors.
