Alumni Spotlight: Jose Reyes Ferriz ’88

Mayor of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico

National Public Radio (NPR) recently interviewed Jose Reyes Ferriz, the mayor of Ciudad Juárez, Mexico and a 1988 graduate of Notre Dame Law School’s LL.M. program. Ciudad Juárez is directly across the border from El Paso, Texas, and one of the world’s most dangerous cities due to rampant violence associated with drug cartels. NPR’s Renee Montagne spoke with Reyes and his counterpart in El Paso, Mayor John Cook.
