W. Scott Hardy '96 J.D. confirmed as federal judge for Western District of Pennsylvania

The U.S. Senate voted in July to confirm W. Scott Hardy '96 J.D. as a judge on the U.S. District Court for the Western District of Pennsylvania. Hardy was previously a shareholder at Ogletree Deakins in Pittsburgh.

He filled the vacancy left by another Notre Dame Law School graduate, Nora Barry Fischer '76 J.D., who took senior status in 2019.
